Welcome to the official Plodding Isles Whitepaper (v3.0)

Play-for-free and earn-for-fun: Plodding Isles is a game-fi ecosystem for all gamers. We're building our video games on a foundation of robust, fulfilling gameplay, not hollow play-to-earn gimmicks.

By bridging the divide between traditional gaming and the blockchain landscape, we're bringing our video game network to a huge audience of gamers; from the achievement-hunters, the monster-slayers and PvPers, to the explorers, the builders and even the green-thumbed gardeners.

Plodding Isles is our shared vision to bring the potential of blockchain-powered experiences to a gaming world that's long-overdue a shift from the status quo.
The Free-to-Play format is fast becoming the mainstream in gaming, but the time and money invested by players usually amounts to little more than a few lines of code on somebody else's server.
We believe that true ownership, tangible rewards and, above all else, quality experiences are the future of Play & Earn and gaming as a whole. We're not there yet. That's why we're building it.

The Plodding Isles gaming network encompasses a blockchain-powered pirate MMO for the adventurers and builders, and a pixel-clicker crypto minigame for the gamer that likes to multitask while they plant their crops and fend off enemies.

Both of our blockchain gaming experiences take advantage of the rapid confirmation and low network fees of the Polygon network to deliver a one-of-a-kind Play & Earn gaming experience to both avid gamers and crypto enthusiasts alike.

Through our NFT collections and our Polygon-based Dubloon Token (DUB), players can farm, trade in-game items, raid rival pirates and win contests to earn Dubloon. The items and currency you earn in the Plodding Isles game can be taken to the in-game marketplace and cashed out for Dubloon tokens or NFTs on the Polygon network, for you to collect or trade on the blockchain.
