# Withdrawing Dubloon

## Withdrawal Fees

To prevent congestion on the Polygon network and to create a smooth gameplay experience, items and Dubloon earned in-game within Plodding Isles & Plodding Isles: Mini are stored in state on the Plodding Isles game servers, for security purposes. When the user wishes to withdraw items as NFTs, exchange them for Dubloon or withdraw Dubloon into their cryptoasset wallet, the server will communicate with the Polygon blockchain and their NFTs or Dubloon will be delivered to their wallet through a [Smart Contract.](/plodding-isles/overview/glossary.md)

There are withdrawal fees for withdrawing Dubloon into your cryptoasset wallet. All fees generated through Withdrawals enter our [Fee Distribution](/plodding-isles/dubloon-token-dub/fee-distribution.md) pool. 

#### Benefits of Withdrawal Fee Structure

* Encourages players to use tokens ingame
* Discourages players from withdrawing at low margins to sell tokens
* Encourages players to keep to one account rather than multiple accounts
* Discourages attempts at botting

The Withdrawal Fee structure is outlined below:
